From yesterday's comments, it seems I'm not alone in my fondness for giraffes - and I agree with many of you - they do have the most gorgeous eyelashes. But did you know they have purple tongues?!

I have to agree Susie, giraffes are fabulous animals, the tongues are unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteI knew they had very long tongues, but I did realize they are purple. That does not seem like a natural color for a tongue. Maybe the giraffe whose tongue you saw had just finished a grape lollipop.
