The hard working guy, himself!

One of my earlier posts showed weaver nests and described the hard work put in by the lovelorn male birds. I spotted this guy hard at work the other day. Hopefully the little lady found the nest acceptable!

Yesterday I posted photos of lawn bowlers at the Zoo Lake Bowling Club. Here are some of the more colorful patrons of the club's bar. This woman brought three of her pet birds with her to enjoy the beautiful Saturday afternoon there.
